CLASS I TO VIII:
The school evaluates students in both Scholastic and Co-Scholastic areas. The Scholastic assessment consists of Internal/Periodic Assessment carrying 20 marks and Mid-Term and End-Term Examinations carrying 80 marks.
The Co-Scholastic areas include Work Education, Art Education, Health & Physical Education, and Discipline.
The Periodic Assessment includes Periodic Tests (10 marks), Notebook Submission (5 marks), and Subject Enrichment Activities (5 marks).
Periodic Tests are conducted at regular intervals to assess students’ understanding of concepts, identify areas for improvement, and enable teachers to plan instruction effectively.
To pass a subject, a student must secure a minimum of 33% marks in the Mid-Term and End-Term Examinations. For promotion to the next class, the student must obtain at least 33% marks in each subject.
CLASS IX & X:
The school assesses students in both Scholastic and Co-Scholastic areas. The Scholastic assessment includes Internal/Periodic Assessment carrying 20 marks and External Assessment carrying 80 marks.
The Internal/Periodic Assessment consists of Periodic Tests (10 marks), Notebook Submission (5 marks), and Subject Enrichment Activities (5 marks).
A student must secure a minimum of 33% marks in the Periodic Assessment to pass a subject. Students who do not meet this requirement will be eligible to appear for a Compartment Examination. For promotion to the next class, a student must obtain at least 33% marks in each subject.
The Compartment Examination will cover the entire syllabus of the concerned subject. Only one attempt will be provided to clear the Compartment Examination. Students who fail to qualify will be detained, and no second attempt will be permitted under any circumstances, including medical grounds.
A minimum of 75% attendance is mandatory for a student to be eligible to appear for the Annual Examination held in December. The school submits attendance records to CBSE, and students failing to meet the required attendance will not be permitted to appear for the Annual Examination. Parents are requested to ensure that their child meets the attendance requirement.
